یزدی با مقایسه تغییرات مصرف برق نسبت به قبل از هدفمندی یارانه‌ها اعلام كرد: میزان مصرف خانگی 10 درصد، عمومی 12 درصد و سایر مصارف شش درصد كاهش نشان می‌دهد اما میزان مصرف مشتركان كشاورزی 15 درصد و صنعتی پنج درصد افزایش یافته است.

وی از پیشی گرفتن میزان مصرف برق در بخش صنعت نسبت به مصرف بخش خانگی خبر داد و گفت: مصرف برق در كشور به سمت تولید پیش می‌رود .

یزدی با اشاره به اینكه میزان مصرف برق توسط مشتركان خانگی در سال 89، 33.1 درصد و در بخش صنعت 33.4 درصد بود، میزان مصرف برق در بخش صنعت را در سال گذشته 33.9 درصد اعلام كرد و افزود: در این سال میزان مصرف برق خانگی برای نخستین بار از مصرف صنعتی عقب افتاده و به 31.2 درصد رسیده است.

وی به شرط مدیریت مصرف و رعایت الگوی مصرف افزایش مصرف در بخش صنعت را درجای خود مثبت و در راستای رونق تولید و توسعه كشور دانست و خاطرنشان كرد: با همكاری واحدهای صنعتی و اجرای طرح تعطیلات و تعمیرات در تابستان سال گذشته سه هزار مگاوات بار شبكه سراسری كاهش یافت .

یزدی اظهارداشت: به رغم اینكه توان تامین شبكه برق كشور بیش از نیاز مصرفی است ولی در فصل تابستان به دلیل كاهش راندمان نیروگاه ها به واسطه افزایش گرما ، نیازمند همراهی بیشتر در مدیرت مصرف به منظور تامین برق مطمئن و پایدار هستیم.

وی با اشاره به اینكه از دو سال پیش علاوه بر پیك مصرفی شب در بخش خانگی پیك مصرفی بعدازظهر در فصل تابستان هم دغدغه مدیران صنعت برق شده است، افزایش مصرف در این ساعات را به واسطه استفاده از سیستمهای سرمایشی به خصوص كولرهای گازی عنوان كرد .

یزدی بر همین اساس بر استفاده از تجهیزات مناسب و با راندمان بالا تاكید كرد و گفت: با صرف جویی 100 وات توسط هر مشترك دو هزار و 700 میلیون وات صرفه جویی حاصل می شود.

وی بر مصرف بهینه برای رسیدن به اهداف چشم انداز توسعه تاكید و خاطر نشان كرد: اگر مصرف برق مانند قبل از هدفمندی یارانه ها ادامه پیدا می كرد ، تا چند سال آینده مجبور به واردات برق می شدیم.
